It is focused on reaching out to the greater community by supplying various community programs and those in need with resources such as labor, money, and time. The Delta Chi Chapter has participated in numerous outreach programs and helped individual families as well.
The Delta Chi Chapter continues to grow and expand our efforts in the community and region. With over 4000+ community service hours posted anually by our members, we take our responsibility to uphold Kappa Sigma 4th pillar, service, very seriously.

In November of 2010, the pledges and their big brothers took a community service in the Starkville area. They started by having fellowship around a camp fire and camping out at on of our members farm. The day of service lasted from 8 am to 4 pm. The day of service was another great opportunity for brotherhood development. Individual groups of 10-15 worked at the Starkville Botanical Gardens, painted houses for West Starkville Family Solutions, and helped out the Starkville local market. The trip was both done for fellowship and service over all we logged more than 500 hours of community service that day which is a huge accomplishment.
