Recap: The 13th Annual Charity Classic.On Saturday, March 5th, 2011, the men of Kappa Sigma battled the men of Sigma Chi Fraternity. This year, Charity Classic benifited the Fisher House Foundation based on the campus of Mississippi State University. With the conclusion of the 13th year of the philanthropy, the Delta Chi chapter has now surpass $700,000 given to various charities through the annual event! New Charter Received for the Delta-Chi Chapter!Our undergraduate Brothers have once again proven their character and mettle and accomplished what many did not think they could. On December 10th and 11th of 2010, they welcomed over 100 new members to our Brotherhood. An initiation and new charter banquet was held on the night of December 11th at the Colvard Student Union at MSU with over 250 attendees. The undergraduate Brothers were presented with the original charter of our Delta-Chi Chapter as well as their new charter. It was a wonderful celebration with many alumni, national Kappa Sigma officers, and campus leaders in attendance. |

The New Alumni Chapter is Established!Our new alumni chapter was presented with our charter December 11th. This was a great experience but it is only the beginning. We created this alumni chapter to help facilitate a positive and supportive environment between our alumni Brothers and our undergraduate Brothers. After the events of the last 17 months, we now clearly understand we as alumni must mentor and consistently interact with our undergraduate Brothers. We really want you, our Brothers, to feel an active part of Kappa Sigma again. |
